केन्द्रीय विद्यालय मीनम्बाक्कम --हिन्दी –व्याकरण –  

वर्तमान काल -  Present Tense – You can use any root word .

Given below are model sentences using one root word –पढ़ 

मैं पढ़ता हूँ । -- I read (Masculine) 

मैं पढ़ती हूँ। --  I read ( Feminine ) 

तुम पढ़ते हो –   You  read(M) 

तुम पढ़ती हो  --You read(F) 

वह पढ़ता है। -- He reads (M) –who is far off- वह  refers  that 

वह पढ़ती है। -- She reads(F) –who is far off 

यह पढ़ता है। -- He reads –( who is nearby)  यह refers this 

यह पढ़ती है।  --she reads –( who is nearby ) 

वे पढ़ते हैं । --   They read  (M)-plural

वे पढ़ती हैं । -    They read (F) -plural

ये पढ़ते हैं । -- These people read-(M) -plural

ये पढ़ती हैं । --These people read (F) plural

हम पढ़ते हैं –  We read – (M) -plural

हम पढ़ती हैं । -- We read (F) -plural

आप पढ़ते हैं । -- You read (M) –plural/respect 

आप पढ़ती हैं । --You read (F) –plural/respect 

लड़का पढ़ता है। --Boy reads -singular

लड़की पढ़ती है। -- Girl reads -singular

लड़के पढ़ते हैं । -- Boys read  -plural

लड़कियां पढ़ती हैं । -- Girls read –plural 

 Imperative – विधि – (command) 

तुम पढ़ो । - you read  

तुम लिखो –You write 

Present continuous tense –Usage – Root word- eat –खा 

मैं खा रहा हूँ। -  I am eating  (M) 

मैं खा रही हूँ। - I am eating  (F) 

तुम खा रहे हो। - You are eating (M)
